If you’d like to learn more about local government, have a voice in city decisions that affect the neighborhood, meet more of your neighbors, and help Summit-University remain a strong, connected community, please consider running for the Board.
Community Members can join the SUPC Board of Directors after annual elections by petition. Please follow the steps below:
1. Look at the map at the bottom of the page and identify what sub-district you live in (for organizations, just confirm you are in the Summit-University District) 2. Check our current Board Roster for vacant spots in your sub-district. 3. Review Board Member job description (PDF below) 4. Review SUPC Bylaws (PDF below) 5. Print out the petition form, talk to the neighbors in your sub-district, and ask them to support you. 6. Once your petition is complete, contact SUPC and request to be added to an upcoming Board Meeting agenda. 7. Please reach out if you have any questions, if you would like to visit and talk more about being a neighborhood representative, or if you need access to a printer or computer. We are happy to help!
