Community Forum: Summit Avenue Regional Trail PlanPlease join us for a Community Forum to learn more about the Summit Avenue Regional Trail Plan!
February 27, 2023 6-7:30 PM House of Hope, 797 Summit Ave This event will be co-hosted by The Summit Hill Association and The Summit-University Planning Council. These two district councils both border Summit Avenue. You can find more information from the City of Saint Paul regarding this project at: https://www.stpaul.gov/.../summit-avenue-regional-trail This community meeting is intended to be educational. We will have representatives from the City of Saint Paul briefly present an overview of the Summit Ave Regional Trail Plan. Then we will facilitate a question-and-answer portion of the meeting. Representatives from District Councils will ask questions from those that are pre-submitted. You may submit questions via email to [email protected]. Due to the number of attendees expected, there will not be an opportunity for individual questions. We will do our best to get as many questions asked as possible and submit the complete list of questions to the City following the meeting. We will also provide a feedback form that you can fill out and return. Our goal is to ensure that the community has the information they need about the plan, and clarity before submitting public comments to the City of Saint Paul. We will distribute information about how you can submit public comments to the City and provide any known deadlines and meeting dates that have been set. We are not holding this meeting to reach a consensus in opinion about the plan during the meeting. No decisions will be made at this meeting by either District Council. We ask that attendees respect each other's opinions, and not shout during the meeting. Those that do so will be warned and then asked to leave immediately if it happens a second time. Thank you!
