What do you love about the Summit-University District? I love the rich history and diverse community and that it is close to everything and well connected by transit.
How have you been involved in your community in the past? No, and I am excited to get in the game now!
Please tell us about why you are running to join the SUPC Board: I am passionate about this community and eager to contribute my time and energy to help my neighbors and neighborhood flourish. I am most interested in using direct outreach and data to harmonize the district plan with the evolving needs of the community.

What do you love about the Summit-University District? I love the residents, the thriving community and the rich history. Summit University District has a strong sense of unity and proud heritage.
How have you been involved in your community in the past? I’ve been involved in community connectedness through volunteering at schools, churches and organizations. I have a longstanding history of civic engagement and advocacy for minorities, education and cultural enrichment. I’ve also made many efforts to contribute and participate in projects that beautify our neighborhoods.
Please tell us about why you are running to join the SUPC Board: I’m running to join the SUPC because I refuse to be someone who has valuable information, resources and ideas that can be helpful or critical to having a safe, productive and flourishing community and not act and offer those ambitions in the form of support and servicing the place I love, hold in high regards and call my home. I believe that strong communities are built on inclusion of all voices. No race, socio economic status or beliefs are more important than the other. I’d like to raise awareness of the wonderful assets Summit University District has in its residents, businesses and geography.
