District Plan

What is a District Plan?

A District Plan is a document that each of the 17 District Councils in Saint Paul create about every ten years.
They are created with the community, and they are adopted by City Council as part of the City's comprehensive plan.

Our District Plan is a powerful tool that influences what happens in our district. The City looks to the plan when reviewing development proposals. At times the State and the County are directed to our plan when making decisions.
It also helps SUPC identify projects and plan priorities to work on.

SUMMER UPDATES!

We are going to be out at all of the community events this summer ready to talk to you about your vision for the community, but we know it's hot and you have fun to have so you might not want to take a survey on the spot. That's why we are asking you to take the district plan pledge, and sign up to take our survey (coming out late summer) one of the following three ways:
1. Email
2. Phone Call (we will call you and fill out the survey while you relax and talk)
3. By appointment at your home or at a local meeting spot (like the cafe or library)
