Small Business Saturday is November 26! Support our local small businesses, receive special discounts, meet local artists, and enter the drawing for a chance to win prizes.
How to enter the drawing:
1. Pick up a stamp book at any of the participating businesses on Small Business Saturday, November 26. Businesss will set their own hours! 2. Ask for a stamp when you check out. 3. You can enter the drawing after you get 5 stamps, 10 stamps enters you into the grand prize drawing! 4. Once you have enough stamps, sign your card and send a photo to 651-228-1855 or info@summit-university.org 5. Winners will be selected on November 29, and notified via phone! Please note: While no purchase is necessary to enter, we strongly encourage you to shop when you visit our neighborhood businesses. Take a look around, see what they offer. We hope that everyone will be kind and polite to the people working at our small businesses, and not enter stores to only ask for stamps. Calling all Small Businesses!Now announcing the Summit-University Logo Lab!
Calling all District 8 Small Business Owners! Do you need a logo? Does your business need to update its image? Do you want to learn about tools that you can use to help you with graphic design? We are pleased to invite you to apply to participate in the Summit-University Logo Lab Cohort. We will select 5 small businesses to participate in this group. Working together, the group will brainstorm and develop ideas for logos and provide each other with feedback and support. Cohort participants will then work 1 on 1 with volunteer graphic designers to develop a basic logo. The final step in this project is learning how to use their logo on easier to use graphic design programs, and begin creating social media posts, flyers, menus, and much more for their businesses.
