It's time for the annual Hallie Q. Brown Community Center’s Hallie Quinn Brown Winter Tea Party. This event is a cozy afternoon of tea, food, fun, and fellowship.

Donations are being accepted to support the Mary K. Murray Boyd Scholarship Fund. This scholarship is annually awarded to an outstanding young African American woman who will be attending school.

Dale Street Reconstruction Community Meeting November 20

Ramsey County Public Works is hosting a community meeting to discuss construction plans for the Dale Street bridge and portions of Dale Street near the bridge. Construction will begin in 2020.

Community members might be interested in learning when roads will be closed, where detours will be, and where the 65 bus will run. Learn more about the overall project by clicking the link below, and find contact information for the meeting organizers.

Councilmember Dai Thao invites all Ward One residents, families, and friends to attend the 2nd Annual Ward One Community Meal. The purpose of this event is simple: to share good food and conversations.

Ward One includes the Frogtown, Summit-University, North End, CapitolRiver, Como, Snelling-Hamline and Lexington-Hamline neighborhoods, as well as the portion of the Union Park neighborhood that is east of Snelling Avenue. The neighborhoods in Ward One make up the City's most racially and economically diverse ward.
