COMMUNITY MEETING (hosted by Union Park District Council, but all residents and community members from neighboring districts are welcome, given the project's unique location near the intersection of Union Park, Hamline-Midway, Frogtown, and Summit-University Districts.)
June 17, 6:30-8:30 PM Urban development is one of the most important issues today, particularly in light of our country's affordable housing crisis. The Committee on Land Use and Economic Development (CLUED) is holding an open discussion Monday, June 17th (6:30-8:30pm) surrounding the Lexington Project. The project is a proposed residental building to be developed on a currently vacant site located at 411-417 Lexington Pksy N (just south of the intersection of University Ave and Lexington Pkwy N). The project is in a preliminary conceptual design phase, but is currently anticipating ~250 apartment units. The Wilder foundation (the sellers of the plot of land) will be joining us for this meeting. This is your chance to ask questions! All residents and community members from neighboring districts are welcome, given the project's unique location near the intersection of Union Park, Hamline-Midway, Frogtown, and Summit-University Districts.
