Are you interested in developing closer relationships with neighbors to promote community engagement, prevent crime, and develop lasting friendships? Consider forming or joining a neighborhood block club! It is a great way to get involved in the community!
A block club can simply be a group of neighbors who communicate regularly or host small neighborhood events like National Night Out. However, when motivated people come together, a block club can a platform to address larger concerns and issues. If there are issues effecting your community that you feel passionate about resolving, a block club is a great place to start! The Summit University Planning Council is here to help!
