Come join SUPC and Saint Paul Parks and Recreation on Wednesday, July 12 to celebrate the grand opening of McQuillan Park!
The neighborhood started meeting last summer to help design the new park, and many people shared their ideas. Surveys or meetings, young or old, this was a project that was shaped by the community. We want to celebrate their participation and passion! When: July 12, 2-5 pm Where: McQuillan Park, 515 Laurel Ave Who: Everyone who loves a good park! McQuillan, who was also known as the "Mayor of Selby Avenue". He owned a plumbing business and was very active in many social and civic causes.
