Roaming Rec
Outdoor fun at Carty Park (705 Iglehart Ave.) Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30pm-7pm until August 10! Roaming Rec is a free summer youth program offering outdoor games, arts and crafts, and other recreation activities at parks and other locations around Saint Paul. Snacks will be served at each session. No registration necessary. For a list of all Roaming Rec times and locations, visit stpaul.gov/roamingrec.
Environmental Art-making Workshops
Join Public Art Saint Paul every Tuesday until August 22 from 10am -12:30pm for Environmental Art-making Workshops at Western Sculpture Park (387 Marion Street). Workshops are free, drop-in, and open to young people of all ages. New activities and special guests are featured each week.
Family Fun Nights
Looking for fun, free ways to spend time as a family? Head to Oxford/Jimmy Lee Recreation Center (270 Lexington Pkwy N.) on Fridays, July 21 and August 25 from 6:30pm-8pm for Family Fun Nights! Each month a variety of family activities and a light snack will be offered free of charge. Call 651-642-0650 for more information.
Free Meals for Kids
Saint Paul Parks and Recreation has partnered with Saint Paul Public Schools Nutrition Services to provide free summer meals at Oxford/Jimmy Lee Recreation Center, MLK Recreation Center and other locations throughout Saint Paul Monday through Friday until August 25 for youth 18 years of age and under and persons over 19 who participate in a public or nonprofit private school program for persons with disabilities. Schedules and more information is available on the Free Summer Meals website.
