Metro Transit’s Transit Assistance Program (TAP) makes public transportation more affordable for low-income commuters. Those who qualify for TAP receive a stored value card that they can refill at any time and receive $1 rides, regardless of service type or time of day*. TAP allows low-income commuters to save $2.25-$1.50 per rush hour ride and $1.50-$1.00 per non-rush hour ride.
To enroll, individuals must visit the Skyway Downtown Saint Paul Transit Store and present one of the following:
