It's that time of year - most of the leaves are on the ground, gardens are getting cleared out, and snow is on the horizon. Did you know that leaves and other yard waste should NOT go in your regular garbage can? Instead, you can drop it off for free at several yard waste disposal sites. Don't forget to bring your ID to verify you are a St. Paul resident.
While you're there, you can pick up FREE compostable bags for collecting your organic kitchen waste (fruit, veggies, paper towels, etc). These bags can also be picked up at the SUPC office, and full bags can be dropped off at your favorite St. Paul yard waste site. https://www.stpaul.gov/departments/public-works/recycling-and-waste-reduction/yard-waste-and-composting
