Winter Events with Parks and Rec!

Winter Beach Party
Mark your calendars for Saturday, December 16! Great River Water Park at Oxford Community Center is having their annual Winter Beach Party from 1pm-5pm. There will be fun games and activities in the gym and pool area. More details to come. Admission is free but swimming is $2/person. Call (651) 642-0650 for more information.


Soul Line Dance
Oxford/Jimmy Lee Rec Center
Tuesdays, 6:30pm-8:30pm | $5/session | Ages 18+
Soul Line Dance is similar to country line dancing, but you will be dancing to R&B music, adding a lot more "soul" into your steps! Soul Line Dance is a fun way to get a great workout. Great for beginner and intermediate dancers. Classes are year-round. No preregistration is necessary. Call (651) 642-0650 for more information.


Winter Break Programs
Looking for something fun for the kids to do during winter break? Check out these fun programs at our local rec centers! Early registration is recommended - spaces fill quickly.


All-Day Program
Oxford/Jimmy Lee Rec Center
December 26-29, 8:30am-5pm | $20 | Ages 6-12
Activities include swimming, cooking, field trips, arts and crafts, outdoor activities and more. Children should bring a bag lunch, sneakers, and a swimsuit and towel each day. Call (651) 642-0650 or register online at:
