July Community Forum
July 14, 2026
6-7:30 PM
Martin Luther King Jr Rec Center, 271 N Mackubin
From CMR Bowie:
One of my top priorities as a Councilmember is to bring City Hall into our neighborhoods, and I can't think of a better week to do that than Rondo Days. The goal for the forum is to connect residents with City leaders, provide updates on current initiatives, answer questions, and ensure community members know where to go for resources and support.
Topics residents have expressed interest include:
Updates on the Rondo Inheritance Fund.
Fair housing and tenant protections.
The City's role in cannabis zoning and land use.
Vacant and nuisance properties and available enforcement tools. (PAULIE)
Development activity and public investments in the Rondo neighborhood.
Rondo Days is one of the most meaningful opportunities each year for City leaders to engage directly with residents, strengthen relationships, celebrate the neighborhood's history, and share the work happening across City departments."
