Join Love First for their next Independent Living Skills Workshop: Thursday, Sept 24, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Lutheran Church of the Redeemer. This month they're focusing on how to remain safe while achieving stability. This workshop will include trainings that cover self-defense and de-escalation, how to administer Naloxone, and basic gun safety $50 stipends available to the first 20 youth to register!

New Kid on the Block Award - Honoring a business that has opened in Saint Paul within the last five years. People’s Choice Award - Recognizing a business celebrated by Saint Paul residents for its excellence. Traditions Award - Honoring a business that has been active in Saint Paul for at least twenty years. Small but Mighty Award - Honoring a single owner-operated business with fewer than 5 employees. Small in size but mighty in impact on the community.

Selby Avenue Mixed-Use Zoning COMMUNITY WORKSHOP
If you live, work, commute, or own a business along Selby Avenue, or want to help guide future development in the area, join us for a workshop on Wednesday, September 23, at 6:00 p.m. to discuss what comes next. Future development along Selby Avenue is guided by zoning, the City’s rulebook for what can be built where. The City of Saint Paul wants your input about how we can use zoning to help the corridor grow in a way that supports community goals and investment in public transit. The workshop will focus on the B Line’s route on Selby Avenue from Hamline Avenue to John Ireland Boulevard.

Central Village Park Day July 13
SAVE THE DATE: July 13 | 5–8 PM Central Village Park Day‼️ Come celebrate the history, culture, and community of Central Village Park, St. Paul. A hidden gem in the historic Rondo neighborhood. After the destruction caused by construction of I-94, Black residents fought to reclaim land, rebuild, and create a future for their families. With the leadership of Bill Parker (first Black City Councilman), the area from Dale & University to Western & University was designated for Black residents to purchase land and build homes.
